Congratulations to all the trophy winners from Friday, Saturday and Sunday night at the Lakeport Fair.

Motorsports Lineup consisted of:

This weekend the action returns to Ukiah Speedway Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday Night Kart Racing on the dirt track then Saturday Night Motorsport racing on asphalt and finally Sunday dirt track with flat track (Motorcycles).

 

Saturday night Ukiah Points #10 lineup for the big track will consist of Taco Bell Bombers, Jammers, Stahl Modifieds, Legends, Pro-4 Modifieds

Mud Bogg action Friday night brought out some pretty close calls that went right up to the finish line. We had a few get stuck needing assistance including the one or two trucks that broke. Great crowd reaction and excitement with friday nights motorsports action.

Main event: winner Clark Miller, 2nd Ivan Castro, 3rd Stacey Ramsey

Main event Clark Miller and Ivan Castro are battling for first place after a tough battle Clark Miller takes the lead. Clark Miller takes a big lead but Castro and Stacey Ramsey try to keep up for the battle. Clark Miller held the lead for the win and Castro takes second and Ramsey third.

Heat race Matthew Yapelli takes the lead with Brad Miller in second Matt Dawson third but being challenged by Frank Chesebro. Clark Miller and Tim Duval bringing up the end of the pack. Last lap Yapelli passes Tim Duval. Main event Frank Chesebro takes the lead Matthew Yapelli in second and Brad Miller takes third and Matt Dawson takes fourth and top four positions are battling each other. Brad Miller takes the jump and gets lose and loses positions. Brad Miller takes a few laps and Catches up to his dad Clark Miller and passes him for fourth place.

Main event: winner Frank Chesebro, 2nd CJ Mattos, 3rd Mike Duvall, 4th Ozzie Lozano, 5th Chris Gray

Heat Race Clark Miller takes the lead gets passed by Frank Chesebro on first lap. Chad Baird tries to pass Tony Mansfield. Chesebro has the lead with Miller and and Dylan Kettwig battling for second to have the option to challenge the leader Chesebro. Main event Dylan Kettwig takes the lead Frank Chesebro takes second Mike Duvall third Clark Miller in fourth and Chad Baird fifth going a little wide and Tony Mansfield trying to take over fifth place. Baird has bike trouble and tries to get back out ends out going out of the race. Kettwig goes down and Chesebro takes the lead. Clark Miller goes down has issues with bike and that will end his night in the 250s. Line up is now Chesebro, Cj Mattos second, Mike Duval third, Ozzie Lozano fourth and Chris Gray top five.

Heat Race Clark miller takes the lead and is passed by Brad Miller who is then passed by Eddie Brown. Leader is Brown followed by Matthew Yapelli are battling for first with Brad Miller in third. Clark Miller got loose and fell back in the pack. Yapelli takes the lead over Brown and Brad Miller takes up third with Clark Miller and Dylan Kettwig battle for fourth place. Clark Miller is passed by Kettwig for fourth place. Brad Miller passes Brown for second place. Main event Clark Miller and Eddie Brown out in front of the pack on the first lap with Brad Miller close behind. Brown takes the lead over Clark Miller. Now father and son battle for second place (Clark and Brad Miller). Brad Miller takes over the lead from Matthew Yapelli and Clark Miller in third. Eddie Brown and Cody Stutsman battle for fourth place. Brad Clark goes wide and Yapelli takes over the lead. Brad Miller gets back and the battle continues for first place. Brad Miller and Yapelli keeps changing and battling for first place. This battle continues until the end when Yapelli takes the lead on the last lap for the win.

Heat race: winner Chase Bellotti, 2nd Gavin Kettwig, 3rd Stryder Ridout, 4th Luke Scott, 5th Aubrey Hirshfield

Main event: winner Chase Bellotti, 2nd Gavin Kettwig, 3rd Stryder Ridout, 4th Aubrey Hirshfield 5th Jude Carlton

Heat Race Luke Scott takes the lead with Gavin Kettwig in second third Aubrey Hirshfield fourth Stryder Ridout. Scott is passed by Kettwig for the lead. Kettwig is passed by Chase Bellotti for the lead. Main event Chase Bellotti takes off into the lead. Gavin Kettwig in second Stryder Ridout third Aubrey Hirshfield fourth Luke Scott are top five. The lineup stays pretty consistent for the whole race.

 

65/85 Youth

Heat Race: winner Logan McChesney, 2nd Wiley Kirk, 3rd Drake Chesebro, 4th Christian Castro

Main event: winner Logan McChesney, 2nd Wiley Kirk, 3rd Drake Chesebro, 4th Christian Castro

Heat race Wiley Kirk takes the lead after a battle with Logan McChesney. Kirk and McChesney battle for the lead in the corners. McChesney takes the lead over Kirk but Kirk battles back trying to take the top spot back. Main event Logan McChesney takes the lead Drake Chesebro takes second Wiley Kirk takes third Christian Castro takes fourth. Kirk passes up Chesebro for second place. The lineup stayed consistent for the rest of the race.

 

Open Vintage

Heat Race: winner Rick Kerrigan, 2nd Dana Hetcher, 3rd Time Niles, 4th Mark Topping, 5th Chloe Jakoboski

Main event: winner Rick Kerrigan, 2nd Jimmy McAllister, 3rd Dana Hetcher, 4th Tim Niles, 5th Mark Topping

Heat race Dana Hetcher takes the lead on the green Rick Kerrigan takes up second Logan Orsini takes up top three. Kerrigan passes Hetcher for the lead while Time Niles takes up fourth position. Orsini has a little issues with his bike trying to get it going again but doesn’t make it back into the race. Main event Tim Niles Takes the lead Rick Kerrigan second Mark Topping in third are your top three. Battle is between Time Niles, Logan Orsini and Dana Hetcher. Hetcher passes Orsini and they both go down. Both get back up and in the race. A lot of challenges and battles in this class for positions.

Heat race Frank Chesebro takes the lead with Matthew Yapelli taking second position Jimmy McAllister taking up top with with Clark Miller in fourth. Chesbro, Yapelli and McAllister are battling strong for the lead position while Clark Miller holds back in fourth place. McAllister passes Yapelli for second place while Clark Miller still holding fourth place. Cj Mattos is coming up on Clark Miller or fourth place. Main event Jimmy McCallister takes the lead Matthew Yapelli takes second taking up top two as the pack stays tight and the battles begin for top positions. Yapelli takes the lead but McCallister is battling for his lead spot back. Brad Clark takes up third. Chesbro and Brad Miller challenging for third position to second. Battle with the top four racers and several position changes.

Heat race 1 Brandi Robertson takes the lead Adriana Strugnell takes second Gene Odell Jr fighting to get to the front. Strugnell gets into the leader Robertson giving Odell jr the chance to take up second place and passes Robertson. Taylor Sr and Strugnell battle for second place as Robertson goes high and onto the asphalt. Taylor Sr takes over second place. Robertson goes off the track, Strugnell spins giving mini stock Pieretti third place.

Heat Race 2 Alan Perry takes the lead with Gene Odell Sr in second place Nathan Hoaglin third Ron Portlock takes third Roy Ingalls Sr fourth Nathan Hoaglin round out your top five in lap one. Perry takes off as Odell Sr and Hoaglin fall back. Mini stock Ingalls Jr is trying to make his way to the front of the pack. Perry half a lap in front of the pack of cars Ingalls Jr trying to make his way to the lead positions. Ingalls jr spins out hitting the tires bring out the first caution on lap 6. On restart Perry takes the lead Odell Sr falls back. Ingalls is passing cars making his way to the front of the pack.

Main event Odell Jr Takes the lead over Perry on the first lap Odell Sr takes third Funderburk takes fourth is your top four for lap 1. Perry not giving up for the lead on Odell Jr. Mini Stock Pieretti is making his move trying to stay in front of the pack. Lap five Perry passes ODell jr for the lead position. Odell jr takes lead back but perry is not giving up. Ingalls Jr spins in turn 1 bringing out the first caution of the main event. Lineup back in order and green flag i thrown for restart Odell Jr takes the lead but Perry holds onto second. Lap 10 Rank is trying to make his move on Strugnell to get around her for third place. Caution 2 out on lap 12 Ingalls jr slows and hood up on Pieretti. On restart Perry and Odell Jr battle for first place with Strugnell in third place and Rank in fourth. Strugnell gets up onto two wheels holding third position comes down gets into Perry who holds onto second place. Lap 14 Odell Jr goes low Perry goes high with Strugnell still in third place. Strugnell and Rank are battling for Third place behind Perry. Strugnell goes wide giving Rank the opportunity to go under on the inside and take up third place behind Perry. Odell Jr goes wide Perry goes under on the inside and takes the lead and Rank goes wide as well but brings it back or second place while Odell Jr takes third. Lap 17 leader is Perry, Second Rank, Third is Strugnell fourth is ODell Jr.

Heat race Tony Espicha takes the lead Joe Small second Brandon Small in third. Your top three as the green flag is thrown. Espicha spins giving Brandon Small the lead Joe Small second place Land III takes third Borsel takes fourth Espicha in fifth to round out top five. Borsel making the move on Land III as Hunt makes the move on Espicha he spins and Hunt takes over Espicha position. Hunt gets into the back of Land III before passing him but Land III does not stop without a battle. Borsel falls back a couple positions ending out in third. Main event Brandon Small and Wayne Hunt battle for first and Hunt and Brandon Small keep battling for first and One takes the over Brandon Small. Lap 6 Hunt in the lead Land III in second Brandon Small in third. Top three for lap 6. First caution out on lap 7. Lap 8 Hunt, Joe Small, Land III, tops three. Boesel is making move on Land III for third now trying to take second position. Top three stay consistent.

Main event: winner Mike Rose, 2nd Danny Helm, 3rd David Furia, 4th Steve DeKeyser, 5th Jay Cookson

Heat race 1 Mike Rose takes the lead Timber Haskin takes second David Furia takes third Jay Cookson fourth and Steve DeKeyser takes fifth. Rose takes off and behind him Furia is battling Haskin for second place and takes over second place, Cookson takes up third place DeKeyser in fourth and Haskin falls to fifth place. DeKeyser passes Cookson for third place on lap 2. DeKeyser makes his way up to challenge Furia and give Furia a push before passing him on lap 5. The line up stays consistent for the last five laps.

Heat race 2 Andy Norton takes the lead Terry Decarlo taking up second place Trevor Abella taking up third Danny Helm takes up fourth and Bo Robertson takes up Fifth place. Norton and Decarlo are battling for first place. Robertson moves up to third place Helm falls back to fourth. Robertson is making the move on Norton for second place lap 5 Norton gets lose and Robertson takes up second place. Norton gets loose again falling back to fourth place. Lineup stays consistent to checkered flag.

Main event Rose takes the lead then gets high as Decarlo takes the lead. Helm takes up second then Dearlo is out and Helm takes lead position. Robertson has Dekeyser attached to his bumper and slingshots him around the back of the track. Caution comes out lap 6 with battle between Rose and Helm. Haskins falls back. Rose takes lead Helm takes second position. Lap 15 Rose still in lead Helm takes second Norton third Cookson fourth. As the laps goes so do position changes.

Saturday night, Ukiah Speedway was the place to be with the NorCal Drifters and $5 Fan Appreciation night what a night of excitement! Getting in for a discount the fans also were the judges for the NorCal Drifters main event. Thank you to all you fans out there for your participation. The NorCal Drifters thanked Furia Motorsports again for another invite back to show off their skills. Furia Motorsports loves to give the fans the opportunity to get involved and vote for their favorite drivers in all different kinds of motorsport activities. Due to popular fan vote, NorCal Drifter 1st place winner went to Tyler Knuds, 2nd Jon Duncan, 3rd Joseph Farasati. Also appearing at Ukiah Speedway were Jacob Corbett and Jesus Perez.

 

This weekend Ukiah Speedway will be giving you the motorsports activities during the Redwood Empire Spring Fair. The line-up is as follows: Friday night Monster trucks, the ever popular Boat Races and Super TT Motorcycles racing. Saturday night will be Mud Boggs and more Monster Truck action. Furia Motorsports will end the Redwood Empire Spring Fair with some extreme asphalt dirt racing by the Taco Bell Bombers, Jammers and Mini Stocks. Come on out for some exciting motorsport action by Furia Motorsports for the 2015 Spring fair.

 

Congratulations to all our trophy winners and Jr Trophy Presenters last saturday night at Ukiah Speedway. Racing action this last saturday night was filled with Taco Bell Bombers, Jammers, Budweiser Outlaws and Mini Stocks with results below for up to top five finishes:

 

Mini Stocks

Fast time: goes to Roy Ingalls Jr with 15.547

Heat race: winner Mike Peterson JR, 2nd Roy Ingalls Jr

Main event: winner Mike Peterson JR, 2nd Roy Ingalls Jr

Heat race Mini Stocks ran with Pro jammers heat race 2 starting half a track behind. Mike Peterson took lead for but was challenged by Roy Ingalls Jr for the lead spot. Ingalls ran out of time and the win went to Peterson. Main event Mini Stocks started again Half a track behind the field of Pro and Jr Jammers. Mike Peterson and Roy Ingalls Jr battling each other for the lead as they come into traffic from the Jammers Ingalls Jr takes the lead but Peterson is close behind for the challenge. Ingalls jr and Pro jammer David Rogers tries to go three wide with Peterson. Ingalls and Rogers spin going to back of the pack giving Peterson the win.

 

Budweiser Outlaws

Fast time: goes to Sierra Furia with 13.469

Heat Race: winner Danny Helm, 2nd Erik Ray, 3rd Trystan Mucci, 4th Ron Duke Jr, 5th Sierra Furia

Main event: winner Danny Helm, 2nd Shelby Helm, 3rd Ron Duke Jr, 4th Trystan Mucci, 5th Sierra Furia

Heat race Danny Helm takes the lead and holds the lead for all 10 laps to take the win for the first time in the 2015 season. Ron Duke Jr and Trystan Mucci hold back as Helm takes off with the lead and Erik Ray tries to challenges but falls back as well. Main event 5 cars start the race with Danny Helm taking the lead out front with Ron Duke Jr and Sierra Furia holding tight behind and Trystan Mucci and Shelby Helm hold the back. Furia Challenges Danny Helm for the lead spot. Lap 3 Furia takes lead Danny Helm takes second. Lap 6 Mucci challenges Shelby Helm for 3rd place. Furia and Danny Helm Challenge each other until Furia’s car breaks on lap 11. Danny Helm takes over the lead. On restart the Helms brothers both in front challenging each other with Mucci and Duke Jr following behind. Danny takes the lead on restart, lap 16 Mucci goes off with mechanical issues as Duke Jr leaves as well. This left the Helms Brothers to battle for the win on lap 17. What a finish with these two brothers putting on such a show the lead going back and forth and brothers bumping and tagging each other. Straight ways Danny would hold the lead then come turns Shelby would come in for the challenge. These two brothers may have different styles of racing but they showed that either style worked for them. Shelby stayed on the outside of Danny until lap 29 when he tried to pass Danny on the inside but Danny was not going to be beat out by his brother Shelby and took back over the lead for the win. It was a close finish.

 

Jr Jammers

Fast time: goes to Elizabeth Ingalls with 16.844

Heat race: winner Steven Sprague, 2nd Elizabeth Ingalls, 3rd Brandi Robertson

Main event: winner Elizabeth Ingalls, 2nd Steven Sprague, 3rd Brandi Robertson

Heat race Steven Sprague takes the lead and holds it for all 10 laps and the win, but not without Elizabeth Ingalls challenging him the last few laps. Elizabeth came up real close for the challenge a couple times but ran out of laps. Main event Elizabeth Ingalls came out in front and held the whole pack of cars until she is challenged and passed by Ingalls held the lead for the whole main event and the win. Sprague and Robertson brought up the back of the pack dealing with car issues and traffic.

 

Pro Jammers

Fast time: goes to Justin Moran with 16.080

Trophy Dash for pro jammers Michelle Odell takes the lead and gets loose in turn 2 comes back holds the lead for 2 laps then David Rogers takes the lead over around lap 2 for the win. Justin Moran follows Rogers to take up second place. Heat race 1 Gene Odell Jr takes the lead for the first 7 laps then is challenged and passed by Ryan McGough who takes the win. Heat race 2 Kody Hubert takes the lead with David Rogers and Justin Moran following behind battling for second place. Rogers gets loose giving Moran the chance to move up and take the second spot. Main event Gene Odell Sr takes the lead as the green flag is thrown with Rogers and McGough following closely behind. Lap 4 Gamble spins while Rogers and McGough still fight for second place. On restart Gene Odell Sr takes lead McGouch looking for his option to take the lead with Hubert in 3rd waiting for his option to move up. Lap 10 Odell Sr losses lead and falls to fourth. McGouch, Rogers, Moran all pass Odell Sr. Moran holds the lead for the win.

Bomber trophy dash Dustin Kuhl takes the lead but not without a fight from Erik Ray. Lead switched between Kuhl and Ray for the first 3 laps then turn 3 all cars get loose and Kuhl holds on for the win. Bomber Heat race 1 Trystan Mucci the lead George Abella and Kolby Berry get tangled in turn 2 on lap 2. On restart Brian White takes the lead from Mucci while Berry spins in turn 4 lap 4. On restart White takes the lead until lap 9 when he is challenged and passed by Berry. Wade Coleman moves up to challenge Berry, but ran out of laps. Heat race 2 Casey Blocher and Trent Campbell battle back and forth for first couple laps. Lap 3 Blocher takes the lead Campbell fights to stay up front but falls back giving Erik Ray a chance to move up for the battle. Blocher takes the win and Bradley Brackett and Denny Cashada hold back. Main on green start Mucci takes the lead for the main event while Coleman closes in on Abella for 2nd. Berry and Kuhl get loose into each other going into the infield. Lap 2 on restart Mucci, Abella, White and Blocher all spin. On restart Coleman takes lead with White in second Campbell third White 4th Ray and Cashada. Cashada makes his move moving up to 3rd Brackett gets into Ray sending Rays up on two wheels over the hood of Kuhls car before coming back down on lap 5. White spins out on lap 6 and Blocher takes the lead while Cashada takes second position. Berry gets loose spins in turn 2 on lap 9. Grandpa Cashada takes the lead on restart. Blocher takes up second giving him the chance to challenge Cashada. Berry goes up into Kuhl spinning both out on lap 26. Cashada takes the win.

Making their first appearance at Ukiah Speedway come on out and give a welcome to Norcal Drifters from Sonoma Speedway. The drifters made their first appearance at Lakeport Speedway two weeks ago and what a show they put on. This time they are planning to bring more cars for a bigger show. Come on out and give them a Ukiah Speedway welcome.

 

Memorial weekend racing action at Lakeport speedway as a thrilling show 4 track records were broken in Taco Bell Bomber, Stahl Racing Modifieds, Budweiser Outlaws and Mini Stocks. The night ended with a boat race. Exciting racing action with a packed crowd.

 

Boat race results Winner Madmax Driven by Ken Cornerlll, 2nd and best of show #29 driven by Evan Smith, 3rd #5150 The Beast driven by John “Cowboy” Moore.

 

Racing will continue for Points race # 9 at Ukiah Speedway this Saturday Night, May 30, 2015. Our line up shall consist of Taco Bell Bombers, Jammers, Budweiser Outlaws, Mini Stocks, Bandoleros and the following week we will remain at Ukiah Speedway for the Redwood Empire Spring Fair. Also keep in mind July 18th 2015 date for The Anderson Valley Logging Military Appreciation and First Responders night. Come on out and show support to our local Military and first responders and enjoy a great night of racing packed action.

Legends

Fast time: goes to Cody Barba with 13.788

Heat race: winner Cody Barba, 2nd Mike Brummit, 3rd Bill Kistenmacher, 4th Ian Elliott, 5th Thomas Esberg

Main event: winner Bill Kistenmacher, 2nd Cody Barba, 3rd Ian Elliott, 4th Mike Brummit

 

Heat race Thomas Esberg held the lead with Mike Brummit holding off Bill Kistenmacher and Ian Elliot and Cody Barba. Bill Kistenmacher went low while Mike Brummit went high and Thomas Esberg was in the middle of three wide. Esberg spins goes high and hits the wall taking him out of the race in turn 1 lap 2. Barba takes the lead over on lap 3 from Bummit and holds the lead to the end Kistenmacher gets loose in turn 4 and lap 6 sending him to back.

Main with 4 cars running tight Mike Bummit gets loose with a bump from Elliott and giving Kistenmacher the lead with challengers Barba and Elliott closing in for the chance to take the lead. Lap 12 Barba takes up second from Elliott and gets the chance to challenge Kistenmacher for the lead but he ran out of laps giving the win to Kistenmacher.

 

Stahl Racing Modifieds

Fast time: goes to Mike Collins with 12.386 (New Track Record for Lakeport Speedway)

1st Heat race: winner Charlie Collins, 2nd Mike Sullivan, 3rd Mike Collins, 4th Gary Collins, 5th Cameron Austin

2nd Heat race: winner Mike Neilsen, 2nd Eric Johnson, 3rd Dustin Knight, 4th Eddie Klein, 5th Darin Sullivan

Dash: winner TJ Buzzard, 2nd Mike Neilsen, 3rd Charlie Collins, 4th Eddie Klein

Main event: winner Charlie Collins, 2nd Mike Neilsen, 3rd Eric Johnson, 4th Mike Collins, 5th Cameron Austin

Heat race 1 Charlie Collins take the lead and ran from the pack without looking back or being challenged. Mike Sullivan and Charlie Collins hold second and third leaving no room for Gary Collins or Cameron Austin to make their move to the front. Heat race 2 Mike Neilsen takes the lead and runs away from the pack and does not look back. As the pack behind Neilsen starts to spread out the line-up stays steady with Eric Johnson in second, Dustin Knight third, Eddie Klein fourth and Darin Sullivan 5th.

Dash TJ Buzzard takes the lead and is challenged by Mike Neilsen with Charlie Collins coming up close from the back of the pack. Collins runs out of laps and TJ Buzzard takes the win.

Main event Charlie Collins takes the lead with Mike Neilsen closely behind the rest of the pack holding tight waiting for their chance to make their move. Lap 6 Mike Collins make move on the outside to take over fourth place from Cameron Austin and Mike Sullivan. Dustin Knight and Sierra Furia looking for their chance to make their move to move up in the line up. Furia passes Knight on lap 10 making her move up the lineup. Furia looking to challenges Austin for 5th place with Knight looking to do the same. With traffic Knight takes over with Furia behind but not without a challenge from Austin. Lap 27 Mike Collins laps slower cars and takes the win with a 0 caution modified race.

 

Mini Stocks

Fast time: goes to Billy Shaul with 13.541 (New Track Record for Lakeport Speedway)

Heat race: winner Dave Aceves, 2nd Mike Peterson JR, 3rd Roy Ingalls Jr, 4th Billy Shaul, 5th Matt Preston

Main event: winner Billy Shaul, 2nd Matt Preston, 3rd Roy Ingalls Jr, 4th Dave Aceves, 5th Mike Peterson JR

Heat race Dave Aceves takes the lead lap 8 Aceves falls back until lap 10 where he takes the lead back over from Peterson for the win. Main event laps 1-8 Aceves and Peterson hold the tight going back and forth for the lead. Roy Ingalls Jr and Shaul holding tight behind waiting to make their move to the front. Aceves takes lead on lap 12 with Shaul close behind ready to challenge. Mike Preston following Shaul close to make his way to the front. Shaul takes lead on lap 17 with Preston takes up second challenging Shaul until the finish line where Shaul takes the win.

 

Budweiser Outlaws

Fast time: goes to Sierra Furia with 12.429 (New Track Record for Lakeport Speedway)

1st Heat race: winner Sierra Furia, 2nd Ron Duke Jr, 3rd Danny Helm, 4th Trystan Mucci, 5th Rob Loucks

Heat race Ron Duke Jr takes the lead Trystan Mucci and Danny Helm move up to try and challenge Duke Jr. Sierra Furia moves up to challenge Duke jr and takes over the lead for the win. Main event Ron Duke Jr takes the lead as Trystan Mucci falls back giving Danny Helm a chance to Challenge him for Second place. Mucci takes third place and the field of Budweiser Outlaws stay the same and Duke jr takes the main event win.

 

Jr Jammers

Fast time: goes to Justin Helm with 15.361

Heat race: winner Justin Helm, 2nd Brandi Robertson, 3rd, Steven Sprague

Main event: winner Justin Helm, 2nd Brandi Robertson, 3rd Steven Sprague

Heat race Brandi Robertson takes the lead while Steven Sprague falls back giving Justin Helm the chance to challenge Robertson. Lap 3 Justin Helm takes the lead and maintain for the win but Robertson challenges until the end. Main event Justin Helm takes the lead for the pack of pro and jr jammers. Helm holds the lead for 16 laps when pro Jammer Justin Moran. Helm takes the win for the jr jammers and making his first appearance of the year he takes the sweep winning both heat and main.

 

Pro Jammers

Fast time: goes to Roy Ingalls Jr with 14.832

Heat race 1 Gene Odell Sr takes lead and holds it to the end but not without a challenge and rubbing and bumping from Michelle Odell. Gene Odell Sr was ready and waiting for his chance to challenge Gene odell jr. Michelle Odell gets back up and takes over second while odell Jr takes the win. Heat race 2 Kody Hubert and Ryan McGough challenge each other for the lead up until the last lap when Hubert takes the lead for the win. Dave Rogers and Roy Ingalls Jr hold back waiting for their chance to take the lead. Main event Gene Odell Jr leads the pack for the pro jammers. Kody Hubert takes the lead for pro jammers with Justin Moran on the move. Lap 10 first caution Roy Ingalls Jr hits the wall taking him out of the race. On restart Hubert takes the lead for pro jammers. Moran is running second and Rogers taking up third, McGough and Odell sr making way to front of pack. Coming into traffic Hubert loses lead to Moran and they start lapping cars and Moran takes home the win.

 

Taco Bell Bombers

Fast time: goes to Bradley Brackett with 13.987 (New Track Record for Lakeport Speedway)

1st Heat race: winner Kevin Brackett, 2nd Casey Blocher, 3rd Ron Duke Sr, 4th Adrianna Strugnell, 5th Trevor Abella

2nd Heat race: winner Dustin Kuhl, 2nd Forrest Kuecker, 3rd Bradley Brackett, 4th Gino Buchignani, 5th Lauren Snider

Main event: winner Bradley Brackett, 2nd Forrest Kuecker, 3rd Trystan Mucci, 4th Casey Blocher, 5th Robert Taylor

Heat race 1 Ron Duke Sr takes the lead with a challenge from Kevin Brackett. Lap 3 Brackett takes the lead over Duke Sr and holds for the win. The rest of the pack hold tight waiting for chance to challenge. Heat race 2 Dustin Kuhl takes the lead early and holds for the win but not without challenges from Forrest Kuecker. Behind Kuecker Brackett and Buchignani battle for their change to challenge Kuhl but ran out of laps. Main event Ron Duke Sr jumps in front for the lead and with Kuhl, Brackett and Buchignani holding second, third and fourth waiting for their chance to make their move. Lap 6 Kuhl takes the lead and Mucci gets lose and recovers. First caution comes out on lap 8 when Brackett spins taking the wall. Kuhl takes lead on the restart with Kuecker and Buchignani battle to take up position to challenge Kuhl. Buchignani takes up second but not for long before he is challenged by Snider lap 12 he takes second. Lap 13 Kuecker and Buchignani battle for third when Kuecher gets into Buchignani spinning him and they both go to back of the pack. On restart Kuhl takes lead on lap 18 Snider takes the challenge and takes over the lead. Lap 28 Kuhl gets into snider spinning him Buchignani has moved up to fourth. Bradley Brackett takes up the lead for the win, with a wild yellow checkered flag finish.

In recognition of our Military and first responders and the sacrifices that they make Furia Motorsports honored them with free entrance into the main grandstands for this very special night of racing at Lakeport Speedway with a special guest appearance from Nor Cal Drifters from Sonoma Speedway. Thank you to Military past, present and future and first responders for what you do we greatly appreciate all of you. Military and First Responders will again be recognized and thanked July 18th at Ukiah Speedway courtesy of Anderson Valley Logging.

Nor Cal Drifters are a new fast rising motor sport that originated in Japan. We had 7 drivers making their first appearance at Lakeport speedway, most of the drivers have been driving anywhere from 2 to 6 years and they can been seen at Sonoma Speedway Wednesday nights. Thank you to Jon Duncan, Rob Pascua, Kodi Rosado, Crick Filippi (of Team Burn The Most), Josef Farasati, Tyler Knudsen, Ryan Rasberry for demonstrating for us side by side with two cars after our heat races and after our mains it was a free for all. The Nor Cal Drifters will be doing demonstrations again Saturday May 30th at Ukiah Speedway.

Main event: winner Jeremy Doss, 2nd Mike Brummit, 3rd Rosie Togneri, 4th Bill Kistenmacher

Heat race legends stayed pretty steady, lap 3 Jeremy Doss took lead over Mike Brummit and held the lead for the win. Around lap 6 Bill Kistenmacher took 2nd place over from Brummit. Main event Mike Brummit and Jeremy Doss battle for the lead on lap 1. Doss take lead and holds the lead for the whole main and almost catching up to Mike Brummit who was holding second place almost ¾ lap ahead of Brummit.

 

Jr Jammers

Fast time: goes to Elizabeth Ingalls with 15.850

Heat race: winner Brandi Robertson, 2nd Steven Sprague, 3rd Elizabeth Ingalls, 4th Jordan Crouch

Main event: winner Jordan Crouch, 2nd Steven Sprague, 3rd Brandi Robertson, 4th Elizabeth Ingalls

Steven Sprague takes lead on lap 2 then Sprague and Robertson make contact. Robertson gets high and makes her way with all four tires back on the ground to continue the battle for the win. Robertson takes lead on lap 7 and holds it for the win. Main event Jordan Crouch takes the lead early on in the main and holds it for all 30 laps battling pro drives to stay in front. 26 laps in and the first caution flag was thrown and Jordon maintained lead even after green flag restart until checkered flag was flown giving Jordon her first win of the season.

 

Pro Jammers

Fast time: goes to David Rogers with 14.795

Trophy Dash Ryan McGough takes the lead early in the trophy dash until around last lap when Kody Hubert takes the lead in turn 3 and 4 for the win. Justin Morain and David Rogers were keeping close wait for their opportunity that did not come. Heat Race 1 Lynette Duhl battles for the lead with Victoria Marrufo who gets turned around on lap 2 sending her to the back. Lap 5 Michelle Odell challenges Lynette Duhl for the lead when Lynette Duhl comes down forcing Michelle Odell to back off. Lap 8 Michelle Odell takes lead and hold on for the win. Heat Race 2 Alan Perry takes the lead early in the race. Caution comes out for Adam Smith getting tangled with Ryan McGough taking Smith out for the nite and Hubert receiving some damage as well. After green is thrown Perry grabs the lead and holds the lead until he is challenged by Justin Moran who takes the lead on lap 9 and holds it until the end.

Main event Perry takes lead on lap 3 from jr Jammer Jordan. Behind Perry is Moran and McGouch. Lap 15 Perry and Moran come into lap traffic giving Moran his opportunity to take the lead. Lap 19 Michelle Odell, Alan Perry and Justin Moran go 3 wide in turn 4. Lynette Duhl tags the wall causing first caution to be thrown on lap 16. Moran holds on to the lead for the win, Hubert Passes Perry to take over 2nd place.

 

Taco Bell Bombers

Fast time: goes to Gino Buchignani with 13.995 (New Track Record)

Trophy dash all four cars were tight waiting for their room to make their move. Bradley Brackett takes the lead early but Trystan Mucci was not far behind. Mucci holding tight get a couple pushes from Duhl giving him the edge over Brackett and takes the win. Main event With a tight pack George Abella takes the lead with Brain White holding on tight for the challenge. Gino Buchignani and Trystan Mucci making their way fast to the front of the pack. Kevin Brackett hits the wall causing his tire to follow him down the track on lap 14. Green flag Abella takes back over the lead until last lap turn three where Bracket takes out leader abella and Brian White gets into the back of Brackett taking all three cars out in final turn. This gave the win to Adrianna Strugnell who was running 2nd behind abella.

 

Midgets

Fast time: goes to Cody Gerhardt with 11.788

1st Heat race: winner Lauren Snider, 2nd Cody Gerhardt, 3rd Scott Pierovich, 4th Floyd Alvis, 5th Michael Donaldson

2nd Heat race: winner Michael Snider, 2nd Davey Hamilton Jr, 3rd Frankie Guerrini, 4th Gary Conterno, 5th Mark Maliepaard

Main event: winner Frankie Guerrini, 2nd Davey Hamilton Jr, 3rd Michael Snider, 4th Cody Gerhardt, 5th Scott Pierovich

 

Heat Race 1 All cars kept a fair distance not giving much option for passing or lead changes. With Cody Gerhardt and Scott Pierovich trying to make their way to the front Lauren Snider takes the win. Heat Race 2 Michael Sinder follows dad and takes the win with challenges from Davey Hamilton jr and Frankie Guerrini. Main event Davey Hamilton Jr takes the lead early in the race with challengers Guerrini and M Sinder holding second and third waitin for a change to challenge Hamilton. Lap 19 1st caution is brought out for Jr Williams tagging the wall. On restart Guerrini takes the lead and holds it to the finish over Hamilton. Mark Maliepaard spins in turn 1 and 2 on lap 22. Guerrini takes lead and wins with Hamilton following close behind for a 2nd place finish.
